A Mindful Childhood is creating a cooperative learning space nestled in the forest outside of Nevada city, Ca. Our focus is on providing nurturing opportunities for children and their families. We provide enriching learning spaces to enhance children's learning, classes that are hands on, experiential, project based and created to nurture the mind, heart, and spirit of children. Mindfulness and Values are weaved throughout our classes and are the focus of our Co-Learning Center. We believe fostering good humans, with strong values, who know themselves, and understand the value and strength in connection and unity will have the power to create change in the world.
Our mission is to create a community-centered educational model that reimagines learning as a shared journey between children, parents, and the broader community. While not a traditional school, it provides a rich learning environment where children actively engage in meaningful educational experiences alongside their parents, who participate in classes and learning opportunities as partners in their children's growth. Beyond supporting child development, we empower parents through workshops and programs focused on parenting, relationships, financial literacy, personal wellbeing, and lifelong learning. We also foster community connection through events, collaborative initiatives, and wellness programs that strengthen the bonds between families and neighbors. Our mission extends beyond educating children—we seek to cultivate thriving families and a connected, supportive community where every member contributes to the success and wellbeing of the whole. Through this symbiotic ecosystem of learning, growth, and service, we aim to create greater unity, resilience, and collective flourishing for generations to come.

Our Co-Learning Center is founded on the belief that children thrive when surrounded by engaged parents, empowered families, and a connected village of support.
Here, learning is a shared experience. Children explore, discover, and grow alongside their parents, who are not merely observers but active participants in the educational journey. At the same time, parents are given opportunities to strengthen their own knowledge, skills, and wellbeing through classes focused on parenting, relationships, financial literacy, personal growth, and holistic wellness.
We believe that healthy communities are built through meaningful connection, mutual support, and collective responsibility. By bringing together families, educators, mentors, and community members, we cultivate a living ecosystem where each person's growth contributes to the flourishing of others.
